The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day

at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The

selection varies and may either be a salad, sandwich or hot entree.

Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY: Munchable lunch salad or chicken tenders, crisp green salad

with ranch, fresh fruit, baked Cheetos, choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Chicken Caesar salad or bean and cheese burrito, jicama

sticks with ranch, diced mixed fruit, pretzel goldfish, choice of

milk.

THURSDAY: Munchable lunch salad or Oscar Meyer “all beef” hot dog

on a bun, potato smiles, fresh apple, choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or Touchdown chicken nuggets, baby

carrots with ranch, Tree Top flat fruit, graham crackers, choice of

milk.

MONDAY: Munchable lunch salad or pepperoni Hot Pocket, veggie

sticks with ranch, applesauce, choice of milk.

Papa John’s Pizza will be offered in place of the menu entree one

day each week.
