A Noise Within launches its new season with Shakespeare’s

“Othello” in preview performances at 8 p.m. tonight and Thursday. The

play opens at 8 p.m. Friday and closes Dec. 8. Tickets are $26 for

previews, $45 for opening nights and from $32 to $36 for regular

The Falcon Theatre opens its new season with “Barbra’s Wedding” by

Daniel Stern in preview performances at the theater, 4252 Riverside

Drive, Burbank. It stars Daniel Stern and Crystal Bernard. An

out-of-work television actor and his wife examine their own marriage

in the midst of the madness surrounding their famous neighbor, Barbra

Streisand’s, elaborate Malibu wedding ... an event to which they are

not invited. Previews continue through Thursday. Preview prices

range from $25 to $27.50. The play opens at 8 p.m. Friday. Regular

performance tickets range from $30 to $37.50. Performances continue

at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 4 p.m. Sundays until Oct. 9.

Artist Vladimir Atanian’s work will be featured during a reception

from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Western Diocese of the Armenian

Church of North America, 3325 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank. Born in

Yerevan in 1940, Atanian started creating art in 1960. He has

participated in more than 180 exhibitions in Yerevan, Moscow, Riga,

Leningrad and Kaliningrad. The exhibit is in honor of the Woodbury

University’s Armenian Student Assn. and sponsored by Mr. And Mrs.

Shant Haytayan.

FRIDAY

Prival Productions presents “Annie” the Broadway hit musical

starring Mollie Crandell and Isabella Wingate, who are sharing the

lead role, in the show at the Gene Bua Theatre in Burbank.

Performances are 7 p.m. Fridays and 3 and 6 p.m. Saturdays through

Oct. 1. Tickets are $15, with group discounts available. For

The Stepping Stone Players are presenting “The Music Man” by
