Flu shots available

South Coast Medical Center will sponsor two free flu vaccination

clinics.

The vaccine is available for individuals at greatest risk for

contracting the flu -- those 60 or older or anyone with a serious

medical condition.

The clinics will be held:

* Sunday, Oct. 16, 8 a.m. to noon at South Coast Medical Center,

31872 Coast Highway; and

* Monday, Nov. 7, 9 a.m. to noon at the Laguna Beach Senior

Center, 384 Legion Street.

South Coast Medical Center receives the vaccine from the Orange

County Health Care Agency and follows that health care agency’s

guidelines for distribution of the vaccine.
