o7Here are a few of the issues the council will consider Tuesday

night:

f7

MUTUAL FIRE AID AGREEMENT

The City Council will consider an agreement with the U.S. Forest

Service for mutual fire assistance with the city. The close proximity

of the Angeles National Forest to the city necessitated an agreement

with the forest service. There will be little fiscal impact on the

city from the agreement.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The council will most likely approve the agreement.

CHICKEN RESTAURANT APPEAL

The council will conduct a public hearing on an appeal of a

recommendation from the Planning Board to grant a conditional use

permit to California Chicken Cafe to open in the 2900 block of

Magnolia Boulevard.

Staff members admitted the restaurant would be a good addition to

the neighborhood but recommended the council reject the proposal

because there is inadequate parking.

WHAT TO EXPECT

The council may grant the appeal.
