“Many of our clients have private jets, so our showroom is at the back side of John Wayne airport,” owner David Heil said. “It’s accessible from the tarmac.”

Lahaina Galleries at Fashion Island hosts an artist exhibit and personal appearance with impressionist Darrell Hill from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday.

Hill’s art features the backdrops of Kona, the horizons of Waimea and the picture-perfect shores of Mauna Lani. His work reflects the timeless beauty of nature and simple enjoyments in life.

Hill also paints playful collections of dogs, retro bikes, and casual slippers.
