Pelican Hill touted

Both courses at Pelican Hill Golf Club were recently selected in the top 15 for California’s best public-access golf courses by Golfweek Magazine.

The listing comes at a time of temporary closure for Pelican Hill, which shut down both courses last week for major renovations. The resort is scheduled to be reopened in late 2007.

In Golfweek’s listings, the Ocean Course was No. 12 while the Links Course was No. 14. Pebble Beach Golf Links was listed No. 1 in California and No. 2 in the nation for resort courses.
