FAIRBORN - KELSO

Sara Fairborn of Newport Beach and Nathan Kelso of Seattle exchanged wedding vows Aug. 27 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Newport Beach.

The bride is the daughter of John and Sharon Fairborn of Newport Beach. She wore a Vera Wang gown with a heart-shaped neckline and beads along the bodice. The bridesmaids were Katie Powers Slick, Clair Lobes, Kate Heindel and Melissa Schutz.

The groom is the son of Paul and Jackie Kelso of Winlock, Wash. The ushers were George Barlow, Dan Pelka, Tobias Duffy and Oliver Smith. The ring bearers were Jackson Fairborn and Canyon Hilgemann.

The reception was held at the Newport Harbor Yacht Club. The couple honeymooned in the Fiji Islands. The bride is finishing her doctorate in developmental psychology. The groom works at Quellos in Seattle. 20051224irzd0dnc(LA)
