Sea Kings Coach Scott Kahawai credited his team’s win to “guts and determination.” He also singled out Kristina Wayte for holding Wright to one of her lowest scoring outputs of the season.

With Wright struggling, senior Rebecca Hembarsky scored a season-high 18 points, six in overtime.

The Lightning (8-3) will play for third place today at 3 p.m. The Sea Kings advance to the championship at 7:30 p.m.
