Medicare drug plan counseling offered

A representative from the Health Insurance and Counseling Advocacy Program will be available Monday, Jan. 9, and Monday, Jan. 23, to answer questions about the new Medicare Part D prescription drug program.

The service will be offered at the Laguna Beach Senior Center, 384 Legion St. To schedule an appointment, call (949) 497-2441.

Irvine Valley College classes for seniors

Beginning the week of Jan. 9, the Senior Center, in conjunction with Irvine Valley College Emeritus Programs, will offer a variety of courses to the Laguna Beach community.

These courses include mild exercise for fitness, beginning watercolor, plein-air art, music rehearsal and performance, yoga, tai chi, creative writing, nutritional cooking and advanced chair exercise.
