Talk on making time for God

Dennis Okholm, professor of theology at Azusa Pacific University, will address the costs and benefits of making time for God, and for ourselves, from 10:30 a.m. to noon Sunday, Jan. 15 in the Parlor of Laguna Presbyterian Church. The public is invited.

Okholm is also a parish associate at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Newport Beach and has been a professor both at Wheaton College and in Khartoum, Sudan.

He has written several books on Christian spirituality and is now writing one that incorporates the psychological insights of early desert monastic Christians.
