Vanguard makes it five in a row

COSTA MESA -- The Vanguard University men’s basketball team won its fifth in row, defeating Biola, 67-58, in a Golden State Athletic Conference game Tuesday night.

The Lions (14-8, 8-4 in conference) led by as many as 13 points before Biola cut the margin to two with three minutes remaining. Horace Wormely made six of eight free throws and had a three-pointer down the stretch to secure the win.

Levi Seekins led the Lions with 25 points and nine rebounds, making seven three-pointers. Wormely added 16 points and seven assists.
