CORONA DEL MAR -- The Corona del Mar High girls’ basketball team did its best work at the free throw line in overtime Wednesday.

The Sea Kings (11-9, 5-4 in league) made 12 of 13 shots from the line in the extra period and upended Tesoro, 56-53, in a Pacific Coast League game.

Neither team led by more than five points throughout. Corona del Mar Coach Scott Kahawai said the Sea Kings got more aggressive driving to the basket in overtime, resulting in their many free throws.
