Surf Theater presents a film that brings you right on top of the action with the new follow cam. The water angles will leave you breathless as Hotch and Rixon unveil just how good California can get. “Sweet Charity Ball”

The Rotary Clubs of Huntington Beach will hold their fourth annual “Sweet Charity Ball” event benefiting the El Viento Foundation. The evening will feature dinner, dancing and a silent auction. Jazz Featuring Euge Groove

Groove, whose “Get ‘Em Goin” track from his Just Feels Right CD recently hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Radio Monitor Contemporary Jazz chart. The concert is produced by BBJazz as part of its HB Smooth Jazz Series and features an optional dinner buffet. Valentine’s Day Dinner-Dance

The Huntington Beach Longboard Crew is hosting a Valentine’s Day Dinner-Dance at Sam’s Seafood restaurant, located at 16278 Pacific Coast Highway. The evening includes live musical performance by the Flowmasters, a raffle of a new longboard, a trip to Baja and other prizes. The event costs $20 or $35 with dinner. LIMITED ENGAGEMENTS

Windows Gallery in Huntington Beach Central Library is holding its annual Member’s Co-op Show of the Huntington Beach Art League. Located on the first floor of the library, the exhibit features works from amateur and professional artists with varied themes that range from landscapes to abstracts. This mixed-media exhibit is free to view. Membership to the nonprofit Huntington Beach art club is open to the public. This special show goes through Feb. 28. Centered on the Center -- Each January, the Huntington Beach Art Center puts on an “open call” exhibition, scuttling past the idea of a jury selection process, to get as much art as possible from the community that represents the wider community. A two-hour walking tour of the Bolsa Chica Mesa and Wetlands is conducted from 10 a.m. to noon on the third Sunday of every month by Bolsa Chica Land Trust. This docent-led tour makes five stops along the walk-bridge and loop trails of the wetlands. Meet in the Reserve parking lot on Warner Avenue.
