Louise Turner Arnold, who operated Turner Associates, a real estate firm in Laguna Beach, for over 40 years died Feb. 10 from complications of pneumonia at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach. She was aged 90.

Arnold started in real estate in Laguna Beach in 1957 and quickly become a broker, which led her to establish her own firm. She specialized in oceanfront properties and the private communities of Irvine Cove and Emerald Bay, the latter a place she called home for more than 50 years. At the age of 85, she sold her office and retired.

In addition to her successful real estate career, she was involved in many charitable organizations in Laguna and Newport Beach.

Arnold loved to travel and had journeyed to so many countries that she became a member of the prestigious Explorers Club.

She was born and raised in Pasadena, attending both Mills College and USC. She married Robert L. Turner in 1937. They moved to Laguna Beach in 1943 and divorced in 1971. She married William B. Arnold in 1979.
