Laguna poloists named All-CIF

Four members of the Laguna Beach High girls’ water polo team have been named to the 2006 All-CIF-Southern Section Division II team.

Juniors Jessica McKee and Breanna Duplisea each were named first-team All-CIF, while teammates Erin Reid was named second-team and Annika Dries was named third-team.

McKee was named to the first-team for the second consecutive year, and Dries was the only freshman named All-CIF in Division II, Laguna coach Rick McKee said.

In addition, Jessica McKee and Duplisea each made the All-Pacific Coast League team for the third consecutive year, and Reid for a second straight year. Dries and Breakers’ goalie Celia Huling were named second-team all-league.

Brittany Forrest and Taylor Dodson of the Breakers were placed on the league’s Honorable Mention team.
