OBITUARY

JAMES W. TORRE

A memorial service is scheduled today for James W. “Jim” Torre, a longtime Costa Mesa resident.

Torre, born in Alhambra, worked as president and chief executive of the Orange County division of Frank B. Hall & Co., an insurance company, before he retired. He lived in Costa Mesa for 26 years. Torre died Tuesday of lung disease. He was 81.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Torre; two sons, Craig and Jay Torre; a brother, Peter Torre; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Drive, Corona del Mar.
