Single settles things for Sea Kings

CORONA DEL MAR ? Michael DiRocco hit a bases-loaded single in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift the Sea Kings to a 6-5 Pacific Coast League victory over Laguna Beach on Thursday.

Corona del Mar (7-4, 2-1 in league) loaded the bases in the seventh on a walk, a single and an intentional walk before DiRocco’s hit. Elliot hit a solo homer in the fifth inning and finished with two hits, as did Lemmerman and Vinnie St. John.

Matt Hauser, the son of former Laguna Beach standout Peter Hauser, got the win in relief for Corona del Mar.
