Vacancies: Rooms with ocean views

Online reservations for some of the historic Crystal Cove Cottages open to the public at 8 a.m. today. The 13 beachfront cottages, including three dormitory-style cottages, can be reserved for dates starting June 26.

There is only one reservation allowed per family per year. The maximum stay is seven days.

The restored cottages, decorated in period furnishings from 1935 to 1955, are the first phase completed in a restoration project for the Crystal Cove Historic District in Crystal Cove State Park.
