Bombers pin down Punks

Madison Pautsch knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to send the HB Bombers to a 6-5 victory over the Pink Punks in South Huntington Beach Girls Softball 10-and-Under Division action.

Pautsch’s single, her third of the day, scored Yvonne Hurtado. Pautsch also scored twice.

Chiara DeMarco had two hits and scored twice, Dana Kerins had an RBI single and scored a run, and Sinead Martin had a hit and sacrifice that accounted for two more runs.

Kaura Grande also singled, and Lindsay Whiteman had an RBI to complement the Bombers’ offensive attack.

Katie Carter helped lead the Bomber defense.

For the Pink Punks, Sarah Baca had three hits and scored three runs and Kelli Tatum drove in three runs on two hits.

Kimberly Estes and Lauren Vela had RBI hits and Kaelin Liccardo scored a run for the Pink Punks.
