PATRICIA ALTOBELLI

Patricia Altobelli, a 30-year resident of Newport Beach, died of congestive heart failure May 7. She was 70 years old.

Altobelli, a homemaker, was born Jan. 11, 1936, in Chicago.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Altobelli; three sons Jim Jr., John and Tony Altobelli; four daughters Sissy Oberlin, Dee Dee Coleman, Patti Collins and Gina Sanchez; sister Colleen O’Connor; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were held Friday at the Pacific View Chapel in Corona del Mar.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Pat Altobelli Memorial Fund, c/o Orange Coast College Foundation/Baseball, 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa.

ALEXANDER C. CACHOLA

Alexander C. Cachola, a 36-year resident of Costa Mesa, died of natural causes May 11 at the age of 81.

Born June 4, 1924, in Binan Laguna, in the Philippines, Cachola worked as an engineer and surveyor for the city of Santa Ana.

He is survived by his brothers Maurice and Nilo Cachola, sisters Lilia Cachola and Cynthia Joaquin; seven sons, Arthur, Alvin, Archie, Ariel, Alex, Abel and Allan Cachola; daughters Arlene Cachola and Audrey Powers; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services were held Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Costa Mesa.
