New York Hardware 14, Outback Steakhouse 2: New York Hardware (22-0) completed an undefeated regular season, outscoring its opponents, 182-62.

Jack Grace allowed one run in three innings, followed by Matt Bancroft (one run in one inning), and Nelson Simons.

Jacob McCann hit for the cycle and drove in five runs, followed by Simons’ three hits and three RBIs. Charlie Massingill and Jason Harris each had a hit and two RBIs. Conner Lomenzo had two hits and an RBI, and Grace added a hit and drove in a run. Scott Felder, Dan Hurley and Erik Heimstaedt each had a hit.

MAJOR DIVISION

Angels 8, A’s 4: The Angels scored four runs in the first, on singles by Cort Hastings, Matt English, Mitch Meleski and Evan Daniele. The A’s scored in the bottom of the inning when Zach Davis singled in J.D. Dawn.

English drove in Caden Stark with the go-ahead run in the third inning. Hastings (three for three) added a two-run base hit in the sixth to score Parker Varner and Rob Rosenast.

Angels 3, Yankees 1: Evan Daniele struck out nine batters in 3 2/3 innings, as the Angels won a playoff game. Tommy Bubonic drove in two runs and Matt English had two hits.

AAA DIVISION

Cubs 10, Braves 8: The Cubs rallied to win their third playoff game. Dakota Armstrong tripled and pitched two strong innings. Neema Korori struck out two batters in the third inning.

Offensively, Charlie Rodosky had a hit and scored twice. Jake Hastings finished with a single and an RBI. Tommy Casey hit a run-scoring single. Jack Donnell singled to increase his hitting streak to five games.

Max Carr threw out a base stealer in the fifth inning.

MAJOR DIVISION

Angels 5, Fountain Valley Dodgers 3: The Angels (12-5) rallied for the victory as Tyler Sheffner went four for four with two home runs, while Anthony Dean and Garrett Prather each had three hits.

Aaron Axtel’s single in the sixth was followed by Sheffner’s RBI double, and the Angels added two more in the seventh. J.T. McLuckey got his fifth win.

Angels 5, Devil Rays 2: J.T. McLuckey’s home run gave the Angels an early lead, and they added four more runs in the sixth inning on hits by Tyler Sheffner, Tyler Taormina, McLuckey and Garrett Prather. The Devil Rays drew close on Abel Huerta’s double and Martin Myszynski’s home run.

PONY DIVISION

Panda Express 4, Costa Mesa Angels 3: Brandon Kelly pitched a complete game for the Angels. Austin Quon went three for four and scored three runs.

Coastal Homes 7, Costa Mesa Yankees 4: Jesse Fox went two for three with two RBIs for the Yankees, also pitching two innings of shutout ball and playing good defense at first base.

T-BALL DIVISION

Giants vs. Padres: Connor Hamm doubled twice for the Giants. Trevor Pacheco and Hayden Pearce each tripled in runs. Cameron Hamm, Connor Walsh, Jesse Estrada and Clayton Atkins crushed singles.

On defense, Isaac Perez secured the first out of the game. DJ Rodman scooped up a grounder and tagged two runners at second for a double play. Tanner Hastings added a grand slam for the Giants.

BOYS’ UNDER-10

Corona del Mar Gold 3, Corona del Mar Silver 3 (CdM Gold wins, 3-2, in shootout): The two Corona del Mar teams met in the third-place game of the Orange County Area Q tournament.

In the first period, CdM Silver’s Stephen Von Der Ahe started the scoring, but Gold’s Brett Greenlee answered to knot the score. Silver’s Areya Aresh made it 2-1, but Gold again answered on Ryan Kleinman’s equalizer. Aresh tapped in another goal, then Gold’s Justin Hanson tied it up yet again.

In the end, Gold won a 3-2 shootout with Jeffrey Myers, Max Premer and Kleinman scoring for the Gold, and Alex Wilde and Clay Dandeneau connecting for the Silver. Landon Thies recorded the win in goal.

The Silver team won its division, allowing only three goals the entire regular season.

Corona del Mar Gold: The Bald Eagles completed a successful spring campaign. The season included wins over South Irvine B (2-0), Tustin B (3-2), Tustin A (2-1) and South Irvine B (6-0), along with a 2-2 tie with Newport Beach, propelling the team into in the season-ending tournament.

After losing to eventual champion Costa Mesa, the Bald Eagles defeated the other Corona del Mar team in a shootout.

GIRLS’ UNDER-10

Corona del Mar 6, Newport Beach 1: Corona del Mar completed an undefeated 10-0 season in the finals of the Spring Select league. The passing and defensive play of Sabrina Roy, Jamie Smith, Katharine Noe, Natalie O’Neil, Sabrina Smith and Katie Scott helped set up goals for Emily Meckler, Meg Crade, Emily Glenn, and Molly Keasey.

The team scored 57 goals during the season and allowed four, due to the stellar goalkeeping of Kendall Mulvaney.

GIRLS’ UNDER-12

Newport Beach Breakers 3, Irvine 1: The Breakers scored first on Courtney Buck’s goal off Peri Howser’s pass. Madison Jabara added a goal, and Kirsten Rohan made a long pass to Chelsea Delameter for the final goal.

Corona del Mar 3, Newport Beach Breakers 0: After losing once in the regular season, the Breakers were upset in the finals by a solid Corona del Mar team.

Defenders Mollie Friend, Alexandra Steiner, Brinley Siemonsma and Sara Hamilton played well, while goalkeepers Kirsten Rohan and Katherine Maddox gave up only one goal in the tournament until the final match. Midfielders Taury Hlinka, Drue Cummins, Madi Jabara and Delaney McCardle played strong, and forwards Courtney Buck, Chelsea Delameter and Peri Howser kept up the attack.
