School lunch menu

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices each day at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entrée. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entrée. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY: Munchable lunch salad with fruit yogurt or macaroni and cheese, fresh broccoli with ranch dip, diced mixed fruit, choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Vegetarian health sandwich or chicken tenders, seasoned corn, fresh fruit, pretzel goldfish, choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Munchable lunch salad or barbecue beef rib sandwich on a bun, baby carrots with ranch dip, fresh fruit, choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or pasta with marinara sauce and meatballs, crisp green salad with ranch, fresh baked whole grain roll, Tree Trop flat fruit, choice of milk.

MONDAY: Munchable lunch salad or grilled chicken sandwich on a bun, Paulie Peas, sliced peaches, choice of milk.
