Taylor won the boys’ discus throw event at the prestigious Golden West Track and Field Invitational at Folsom High School June 11 and is preparing to compete in the Nike Outdoor Nationals June 16-17 in North Carolina.

Courson had a distance of 25 feet, 2 inches at the Newport Beach meet, 26-1 at the Orange County meet and 28-0 at the Super Regionals.
