Park and Wee led the way as Sage Hill’s top singles players. The Lightning reached the CIF Southern Section Division V quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive season before falling to Palos Verdes, 16-2. Sage Hill finished the regular season ranked No. 5 in CIF’s Division V. Sage Hill defeated area foe Costa Mesa, 16-2, in the first round of the playoffs.

The Lightning nearly won the league title, but lost to St. Margaret’s in a tiebreaker round after the two teams tied in sets and games.

Both Park and Wee reached the Academy League singles tournament final, with Park beating his teammate, 6-4, 6-0, to capture the league singles title.

Park and Wee both advanced to the CIF Southern Section individual tournament, where they competed against the best players in the CIF Southern Section.

Wee was named Daily Pilot’s Male High School Athlete of the Week early in the season when he briefly took over the No. 1 singles spot from a slumping Park with a newly refurbished net game and recorded sweeps against both Academy League foe Oxford Academy and nonleague opponent Laguna Beach. Garrison and Astorino formed Sage Hill’s top doubles team.
