Art-A-Fair: art from everywhere

The Art-A-Fair Festival, which celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, is internationally juried and features over 125 fine artists and master craftspeople. Many artists demonstrate and create on site in their booths. A large selection of art media are on display and for sale. Free workshops and supervised children’s art activities are also offered.

As the show has international status, artists from anywhere in the world may participate, which distinguishes Art-A-Fair from other festivals in Laguna Canyon. It also is one of the only festivals to allow digital art. The festival is considered to be a “training ground” for emerging artists, and patrons are encouraged to get to know their works before the artists become major successes. This year, 18 new artists will be featured.

Represented media include traditional oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings; emerging digital arts; glass; ceramics; textiles; photography; mixed media; sculpture and fine jewelry. The majority of the work is traditional.
