Club soccer teams looking to fill rosters

Laguna Beach Soccer Club needs to fill a few spots on its rosters for its boys’ Under-9, -13 and --14 teams, as well as the girls’ Under-17 team.

Cardio Tennis offers summer workout

Summer Cardio Tennis currently is being offered in Laguna Beach. The cost for the six workouts is $109.

The schedule is as follows:

Beginning players: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday, through Aug. 2.

Intermediate Players: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday, through Aug. 2.

Junior tennis programs underway

Junior tennis programs for peewee, junior, teenage and competitor athletes are underway and run every two weeks through August in Laguna Beach.

Participants in the peewee and junior programs will work on technical skills, fitness and mental toughness using the latest modern teaching methods.

All-England soccer academy in August

The All-England Soccer Academy 2006 Summer Soccer Camps return to Laguna Beach this summer and will be held at Moulton Meadows.

The academy will be held for four weeks beginning Aug. 7. A weekly rate of $150 is required of each camper.
