Moving on up for seniors

The Costa Mesa Senior Center is offering a Balance & Mobility class at the center’s multi-purpose room with instructor Judy Aprile. The class aims to promote healthy living and improved confidence in seniors. It meets twice weekly, and two sessions are offered. Class will take place from 1 to 2 p.m. and 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays. It’s free for everyone, so bring comfortable shoes and get ready to move. Concert in the outdoors

The Huntington Beach Concert Band will be at Oasis Senior Center between noon and 3 p.m. July 17. They’ll be performing outdoors and a picnic lunch will be provided. Dancing the night away

Like to dance? Like good music? Like to meet new people? The Costa Mesa Senior Center wants to accommodate what you like with Ballroom Dancing from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Seniors can come enjoy live music and refreshments at the center’s multipurpose room. Tickets cost $5 each. So if you like what you hear, head down to the center Tuesday night.
