Edison hoops camp begins Monday

The Edison Basketball Camp gets underway Monday at the school’s gymnasium.

The camp, which runs through July 28, is open to boys and girls, grades three through eight, and runs daily from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $120 per camper and includes instruction, T-shirt and ball. For more information call Edison boys’ basketball coach Rich Boyce at (714) 962-1356, ext. 4133.

Soccer camp kicks off Monday

Major League Soccer will host two upcoming camp at Sowers Middle School in Huntington Beach, the first beginning Monday and running through July 28.

The camp for players in divisions Under-6 through Under-16 will run from 9 a.m. to noon and the cost is $105 per camper. The camp for players in division U-8 and U-16 will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the cost is $145 per camper. The cost covers a soccer ball, T-shirt and voucher to an upcoming MLS game.
