Paul Folino, a renowned local businessman, has won this year’s Chairman’s Cup award for his volunteer service to the Orange County Performing Arts Center.

Folino, the chief executive officer of Emulex Corp. since 1993, received the award at a meeting of arts center members on Thursday. He is the 29th individual to win the annual prize, which honors community members who have volunteered their time and effort to the center.

From 2002 to 2005, Folino was chairman of the center’s board of directors. He serves as secretary and vice-chair of board development, and on the boards for South Coast Repertory, Chapman University, the M.I.N.D. Institute and Project Tomorrow.
