Leah Perry of Huntington Beach was awarded a $2,000 scholarship from the California Grocers Assn. Educational Foundation. Perry will attend the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business this fall.

Jason Kang of Huntington Beach was awarded a $1,000 scholarship from the California Assn. Educational Foundation. He will attend UCLA this fall.

Morgan DeHaven Deeks was named to the dean’s list of the University of Oregon for the 2005--06 school year. Deeks is majoring in sociology.

Casey Yontz, Emiko Bacon and Tucker Furlow, all from Huntington Beach, graduated with Juris Doctor in Law degrees from Western State University College of Law in Fullerton.
