When kids dress up, it always makes for great photos.

Here we have 12-year-old San Bernardino resident Joe Banuelos, a.k.a. Elvis, and 6-year-old Colleen Ingram of Whittier, dressed like a girl of the ‘50s. You can’t help but smile and think warmly about an time when life was simpler.

Joe and Colleen were dressed up for last Sunday’s seventh annual Elvis Fest at the Orange County Fairgrounds. Proceeds from the tribute concert and karaoke contest were to be donated to the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn.
