AUDITIONS FOR “SLY FOX”

Orange Coast College’s Theatre Department will hold auditions for Larry’s Gelbart’s comedy “Sly Fox,” which will be the school’s first main stage production of the fall semester. Auditions start at 6:30 p.m. 10 men, 6 women, extras, a stage manager and an assistant director are needed. Scripts are in the school library or can be purchased at www.samuelfrench.com. SUMMER AQUA CAMP

Downtown Recreation Aquatics Center, 1860 Anaheim Ave., Costa Mesa. The City of Costa Mesa Recreation Division will offer a week-long aquatic experience in a camp environment for children ages 6 to 14 that promotes water safety and enjoyment. The cost is $26 for residents, $31 for non-residents. Resident registration for Aqua Camp is from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Open registration will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. All classes are subject to a meet-a-minimum enrollment requirement. Only walk-in registrations are accepted.

CHILDHOOD EMERGENCY CLASS

Orange Coast College is offering a course on common childhood emergencies and is taught by a pediatric nurse. The eight-week, one-unit course presents appropriate first-aid intervention for children.
