OCC tops two foes
The Orange Coast College women’s soccer team had seven different players score and seven tally an assist to wallop visiting Fullerton, 10-2, in an Orange Empire Conference game Tuesday.
Kaitlyn Schuesler, Kelli Galligan and Courtney Hanson had two goals apiece for the Pirates (6-2, 3-0 in conference), while Rachel Ronquillo had a pair of assists.
Stacey Shoop, Kelli Fresenius, Nicole Huff and Ashley Boyer also scored for OCC.
Fullerton fell to 2-4, 1-2.
The Pirates visit perennial conference title contender Cypress Friday at 3 p.m.
John Clark scored in the 32nd minute on an assist by Amir Kazemi and Juan Meza added what would be the game-winner in the 82nd minute on an assist from Dave Barnett to lead visiting Orange Coast to a 2-1 nonconference win over Los Angeles Harbor, Tuesday at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
Goalie Alex Roberts had three saves for OCC (4-3).
