Orange County’s Funniest Person Contest continues with the semi-final round at 8:30 p.m, hosted by Lisa Alvarado, the “Latin Queen of Comedy”, at Martini Blues Supper Club. The public is invited to visit the Shipley Nature Center, 17732 Golden West St., Huntington Beach, where trained docents will lead you on a tour of the grounds, provide renovation information and answer questions. The Reefers, a local Southern California surf band, will be playing at The Huntington Beach International Surfing Museum as part of its concert series, Surfin Sundays 10th Anniversary Celebration Season, from 1 to 3 p.m. Admission is free; donations for the museum are appreciated.
