BACK BAY MATCHUP LOOMS

Corona del Mar High’s boys volleyball team will take on Newport Harbor in a four-on-four beach format at 15th Street in Newport Beach on Sunday at 2 p.m., as part of the Newport Beach Centennial festivities.

The Sea Kings and Sailors will play the best-of-three matches with Steve Conti coaching CdM and Dan Glenn for Newport.

HERITAGE RUN TODAY

Newport Harbor High will conduct the 20th annual Harbor Heritage Run today.

The 2K race begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K race starts at 8:30 in the morning at Newport Harbor High.

Those interested in competing can register from 6:30 to 8 a.m.
