HUNTINGTON BEACH — Senior Bridget Gleason was medalist with an even-par 36, helping the Eagles remain undefeated in an Orange Coast League win at Meadowlark Golf Club on Tuesday.

Also scoring for Estancia (11-0, 7-0 in league) were Lina You (42), Caroline Clements (45), Avery Williams (51) and Kim Haycraft (55).

LAGUNA WOODS — Jonna Kim and Courtney Wright shot 41 and 42, respectively to help lead the Sea Kings to the Pacific Coast League win on the par-36 course at Laguna Woods Golf Club.

COSTA MESA — Freshman Lauren Draganza shot seven-over-par 42 to help lead the Sailors to a Sunset League win at Costa Mesa Country Club.

Ali Thomas (49), Tiffany Kim, Morgan Moody (50) and Lindsey Hanna (52) also scored for the Tars (10-2-2, 6-1 in league).

St. Margaret’s 205, Sage Hill 234

IRVINE — Sage Hill was handed its first Academy League loss at Strawberry Farms Golf Club.

Scoring for the Lightning (3-3, 2-1 in league) were Natalie Kraft (43), Kelsey Venditozzi (44), Sara Anderson (47), Amy Babbush (49) and Kimmie Venditozzi (51).

COSTA MESA — Ellie Edles earned the Eagles’ lone win in singles in the Orange Coast League match Tuesday.

The Eagles dropped to 7-4, 1-1 in league.

ANAHEIM — Alex McIntosh swept her three singles sets for the Sailors, but Newport lost a tight Sunset League match.

The doubles team of Chrissy Schwartz and Natalie Small won three sets for Newport (6-3, 2-2 in league).

NEWPORT COAST — The Lightning earned a 26-24, 25-18, 25-14 victory in an Academy League match.

Colleen Heyler had nine kills for Sage Hill (6-11, 2-1 in league) and setter Kelsey Lawler added 21 assists, five kills and four aces.

Laguna Beach def. Estancia

LAGUNA BEACH — The Eagles shocked the Breakers by taking the first game before falling, 22-25, 25-11, 25-17, 25-9, in an Orange Coast League match.

Laguna Beach is ranked second in CIF Southern Section Division IIAA.

Jaye Hellmich had a team-high 12 kills for Estancia (14-7, 1-1 in league) and Annie Tomasek added nine. Stacie Watson had 24 assists and Amanda Watson 15 digs for the Eagles.

Costa Mesa def. Calvary Chapel

SANTA ANA — Sophomore Whitney Crosby’s 12 kills led the Mustangs to a, 27-25, 25-5, 25-18, Orange Coast League victory.

Renee Nutter had 23 assists for Costa Mesa (5-6, 1-1). Caitlin Duffy added 14 digs.

CROSS COUNTRY

Academy League meet

IRVINE — Cait Williamson broke her own school record and Connor Rose finished first as the Sage Hill boys’ and girls’ teams won the Academy League meet at Mason Park.

Williamson’s 18 minute, 55 seconds time was a personal record and broke her school record of 19:09 set earlier in the year at the Woodbridge Invitational. Aiyana Bobrownicki finished second overall (19:25), Katie McKeon was fourth (20:06), Kara Percival was seventh with a personal record time of 20:43 and Erica Faris (20:59) and Jackie Dion (21:00) were eighth and ninth, respectively.

Rose finished in 15:56 and Sean McElroy beat his personal best by 30 seconds with a 16:14 for second. Lion Wintemute was fifth (17:07), Conrad Whitaker was 13th (18:03) and Kyle Simon was 14th with a personal record of 18:13.

Newport Harbor 108,

Laguna Beach 60

NEWPORT BEACH — Newport Harbor High won all five events and seven of eight meets in a South Coast League competition Tuesday at 56th street.

In short board, Mark Contreras and Cameron Clark, along with Chris LoMenzo each won.

LoMenzo also won the long board competition and Matt Kretschmar won body boarding.

For the girls, Kaleigh Gilchrist won short board. Devyn Hartnett won the long board event.
