HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP:Estancia crowned outright
ALISO VIEJO — The Estancia High girls’ golf team defeated Laguna Beach, 210-230, to clinch the outright Orange Coast League championship Monday at Aliso Viejo Golf Club.
Bridget Gleason and Taylor West both shot 38 to pace the Eagles, who improved to 14-0, 9-0 in league.
Caroline Clemmons (40) and Lina Yuo (44) also shined for the Eagles.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
Estancia 12, Ocean View 8
COSTA MESA — Junior Tyler Wayman scored four goals, while junior Josh Young and sophomore Danny O’Neil added three goals apiece to help the host Eagles post their first win of the season in the nonleague contest Monday.
Junior Kyle Lux made 12 saves to help the Eagles improve to 1-13.
Ocean View fell to 5-9.

CYPRESS — Sophomore Kelsey Venditozzi shot six-over-par 38 to earn medalist honors and lead the Lightning to the Academy League victory Monday at the Seal Beach Navy Golf Course.
Amy Babbush (40), Natalie Kraft (43), Kimmie Venditozzi (46) and Sara White (48) also scored for the Lightning, who improved to 5-4, 4-1 in league.
Oxford fell to 2-5, 1-4.
