SCHOOL LUNCH MENU

The Newport-Mesa Unified School District offers menu choices at elementary schools. Students may choose a vegetarian entree. The selection varies and may be either a salad, sandwich or hot entree. Here’s what’s being served this week:

TODAY: Munchable lunch salad with fruit yogurt or bean and cheese burrito, veggie sticks with ranch dip, fresh fruit, choice of milk.

WEDNESDAY: Munchable lunch salad or chicken nuggets, seasoned corn, pineapple tidbits, graham crackers, choice of milk.

THURSDAY: Vegetarian health sandwich or barbecue beef rib sandwich on a bun, jicama sticks with ranch dip, diced peaches, choice of milk.

FRIDAY: Munchable lunch salad or all-beef hot dog and cheese wrapped in whole-grain bread, baby carrots with ranch dip, fresh fruit, animal snackers, choice of milk.

MONDAY: Munchable lunch salad or two mini cheeseburgers, lettuce and pickles, diced pears, choice of milk.
