COSTA MESA — Kiwi Winkler recorded a match-high 31 kills and 31 digs to lead the Pirates to a 30-24, 30-32, 30-32, 30-18, 15-10 Orange Empire Conference win Wednesday.

Jacqi Reed contributed 20 kills and 16 digs, Ashlee Moon added 19 digs and Chelsea Spadaro chipped in with 51 assists for the Pirates (12-1, 5-1 in conference).

Natalie Dittrick had 20 kills for the Lasers (8-5, 4-2).

IRVINE — Matt Murphy gave the Anteaters the lead with a second-half goal and Sean Harvey added an empty-net goal at the end for the Anteaters’ Big West Conference victory over UC Riverside Wednesday.

Rafael Macedo assisted on both goals for UC Irvine (10-3-2, 4-2 in conference).

SAN DIEGO — First half goals from Rachel Housepian and Emelia Miller carried the Lions to the Golden State Athletic Conference upset over No. 7-ranked Point Loma Nazarene Wednesday.

Stacia Hoover and Housepian added assists. Marissa Swift had four saves for the Lions (9-3-2, 3-3-1 in conference).
