ROBERT HENRY SCHULTZ

A service is scheduled today in Costa Mesa to remember Robert Henry Schultz.

He was born March 4, 1943, in Lakeview, Mich., and worked as chief financial officer for a clothing manufacturer. He lived in Costa Mesa for 12 years.

Schultz died of cancer Thursday in Newport Beach. He was 63.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Schultz; two daughters, Trisha Peller and Renee Jones; two sons, Robert and Jason Schultz; his mother, Helen Parks; and three brothers, Lloyd, James and Sandy Schultz.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. today at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 1015 Baker St., Costa Mesa. Burial is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Riverside National Cemetery, staging area #3, 22495 Van Buren Road, Riverside.

Donations may be made to Hoag Cancer Center in the name of Robert and Juanita Schultz.

LINDA JEAN WHETSTINE

Longtime Costa Mesa resident Linda Jean Whetstine has died.

She was born in California on July 13, 1948, and she worked as an executive secretary. She lived in Costa Mesa for 57 years. She died Wednesday in Newport Beach of respiratory and liver failure.

Whetstine is survived by her daughter, Stacey Knocz; her mother, Kathryn Whetstine; her sister, Cheryl Evans; her brother, Donni Whetstine; and a grandson, Wyatt Knocz.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park, 1625 Gisler Ave., Costa Mesa.
