Community Animal Network sponsors weekend adoption events at Russo’s pet store in Fashion Island, so come in this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. for a chance to adopt Brandi, a 17-month old Chocolate Lab-Springer Spaniel mix.

Community Animal Network also expects to have three Yorkshire terriers available for adoption soon through their pet placement service. For a $25 donation, the network will match people seeking specific dog breeds or certain color cats and kittens.
