Breakers win in Junior Tennis

The Laguna Beach Breakers Junior Team Tennis 14-and-Under team won its most recent match, defeating visiting Ritz Carlton.

Laguna won on sets, 7-2, and in games, 42-28.

Winning in singles action for the Breakers were Bryce Bash (6-0), Breck Bash (6-5), Brad Barnes (6-3), Sammy Witte (6-0) and Monika Prokes (6-3).

In doubles play, Dylan Somerset paired with Drew Kanner to win 6-1 and Tori Langton and Conrad Reeves won 6-4.

In other tennis action:

Laguna’s 12-and-Under team won just once in both singles and doubles play in a loss to Palisades Tennis Club.

Dino Romeo won his singles match, 6-1, and the doubles team of Adrien Azera/Noah Blanton won 6-4.

Although they did not win, Kira Hamilton and Will Pennington both took their matches to a tie-break.
