FULLERTON — Costa Mesa High split a pair of consolation games Saturday, edging Troy, 13-12, before losing to La Habra, 13-9, at Troy High.

Junior Sam Edman had the game-winner for the Mustangs (11-16) against Troy with two minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Senior John Roche scored 10 combined goals in the two games, and senior goalie Scott Neslage had 10 steals against Troy.

Costa Mesa plays its season finale on Wednesday at home against Orange Coast League rival Laguna Beach.
