A strong defensive effort Saturday was enough to provide the Huntington Beach Orange Oilers with another playoff victory.

In the second-round of the league playoffs, Huntington posted an 8-6 victory over the Mission Viejo White Cowboys in Jr. All-American Football Pee Wee Division postseason play.

The lone Huntington touchdown was scored by Jackson Truong, who was aided on his scoring run by center Ben Roth, quarterback Michael Chislock and by a crucial block from receiver Jacob Lainson.

The Orange Oilers clung to a two-point lead in the second half, but the defense of Stephen Clamp, Justin McCollum, Darrin Romo, Vincent Dugard, Alex Alagata and Donald Rice thwarted a late drive by the Cowboys.
