Lancelot, an 8-week-old kitten resembling a flame-point Siamese, will be available for adoption at Community Animal Network’s Fashion Island event from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday outside Russo’s Pet Experience.

If you are looking for a pet for the holidays, now is the time to adopt, shelter officials said. It will be much more difficult to find kittens as it gets closer to Christmas.
