PEARL HARBOR REMEMBRANCE

The American Privateer Lynx, a 122-foot reproduction of a fighting schooner built in 1812, will conduct a dedication ceremony from 9 a.m. to noon honoring veterans who served and defended Pearl Harbor. The ship will leave from the Newport Harbor Nautical Museum, 151 East Coast Highway, Newport Beach and the sail will include a cannon salute and wreath-laying in the Pacific Ocean. Girls Incorporated of Orange County, an organization committed to helping girls be “strong, smart and bold” is sponsoring a Holiday Open House from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 1815 Anaheim Ave., Costa Mesa.
