COSTA MESA — Courtney Ford scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Pirates to the nonconference victory Friday night.

Ford was 11 for 21 and grabbed seven rebounds. Robin Smith added 16 points and Devin Hundley and Lindsay Allen scored 13 points each to help OCC notch its ninth-straight win.

The Pirates have averaged 85.6 points per game in its nine wins, including back-to-back games of 90-plus points.

LaTrina Payne led the Falcons with 20 points, while Genesis Lewis added 13 points and seven rebounds.

Cerritos was 0-for-9 from 3-point range, while OCC went 10-of-29 from threedom.

OCC will return to action on Wednesday at El Camino at 7 p.m. before playing host to the Coast Christmas Classic, which starts on Dec. 18.
