BULLETS WIN TITLE

The AYSO Region 120 girls’ under-12 Bullets, coached by Ivan Novoa, won their Division Tournament with a 4-0 victor recently. The team completed a perfect season, winning every game with the exception of one tie.

In the final tournament game, Alondra Novoa led the scoring with two goals. Hayley Gonzales and Alexis Mondares each scored one goal. Danni Blackman and Victoria Sturdy provided key passes to set up many of the shots on goal. The defense, led by Shanae Elam, shut down the opponent for the Bullets’ ninth shutout of the season.

Jamie Knauser, Maddie Caffey and Evelyn Lugo combined at the goalie position, knocking down all shots on goal.

Maddie Deutsch, Veronica Ebergenyi, Alexis Monestime and Mariah Curran provided a strong defensive front, limiting their opponents’ scoring opportunities.
