HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP:Lane scores a career high in win

MURRIETA — Senior guard Eddie Lane scored a career-high 18 points, helping Corona del Mar High boys’ basketball team defeat Chaparral, 56-46, in the third-place game at the Southwest Shootout at Murrieta Valley High Monday.

Forward Stefan Kaluz added 11 points. He was named to the all-tournament team for Corona del Mar (7-2).

The Sea Kings will play host to Troy (8-3) Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Tierney Danner scored 11 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Sage Hill (2-4).
