The following is from the daily log of the Laguna Beach Police Department from Wednesday, Dec. 27, through Tuesday, Jan. 2, presented in reverse order of occurrence.

TUESDAY

So. Coast Highway: At 4:31 p.m., a Brea woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after she was found unable to move while sitting in a hotel lobby in the 400 block.

Broadway: At 2:06 p.m., a man was held in a citizen’s arrest on suspicion of shoplifting at a market in the 200 block.

Cleo Street Beach: At 12:55 p.m., a swimmer was given medical aid after sustaining a one-inch laceration on his head in the 700 block.

So. Coast Highway: At 11:40 a.m., a man allegedly left a restaurant without paying for his meal in the 300 block.

Cypress Drive: At 10:13 a.m., a laundry room was reported broken into that morning and clothing and wine stolen in the 300 block.

Forest Avenue: At 10:31 a.m., a flower shop was reported to have been burglarized overnight in the 300 block.

MONDAY

Victoria Beach: At 11:33 p.m., fireworks were reported in the 2700 block of the beach.

Diamond Street: At 2:04 p.m., two fire engine companies responded to a fire, determined to have been caused by a vacuum cleaner, in the 200 block.

Dunning Drive: At 1:30 a.m., loud music was reported in the 1200 block.

Pinecrest Drive: At 12:45 a.m., police were called to a disturbance at a party in the 300 block.

Griffith Way: At 12:34 a.m., police were called to a disturbance at a party in the 600 block.

Cress Street: At 12:22 a.m., fireworks were reported at Bluebird Park in the 700 block.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: At 12:05 a.m., fireworks were reported in the 300 block.

SUNDAY

Morningside Drive: At 11:25 p.m., fireworks were reported across the canyon from a home in the 1500 block.

Coast Highway: At 10:29 p.m., a Christmas tree was reported in the middle of the street at Reef Point.

Park Place: At 10:29 p.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance at a party with 50 to 60 people and possible underage drinking in the 2800 block.

So. Coast Highway: At 6:55 p.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 700 block.

Coast Highway: At 4:04 p.m., a beached sea lion was determined to be OK in the 30800 block.

So. Coast Highway: At 2:13 p.m., $500 to $1,000 was reported stolen from a cash drawer at a business in the 400 block.

So. Coast Highway: At 12:28 a.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of battery after police were called to a fight involving 25 people at a hotel in the 400 block.

SATURDAY

Cliff Drive: At 9:38 p.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of robbery, and the robbery victim taken to the hospital, after $41 was stolen from someone at a pay phone at Heisler Park in the 400 block.

Broadway: At 8:13 a.m., a stolen cart was returned to a market in the 200 block.

Coast Highway: At 2:31 a.m., a woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Laguna Avenue.

Thalia Street: At 2:31 a.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 100 block.

Brooks Street: At 1:41 a.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 300 block.

FRIDAY

So. Coast Highway: At 6:27 p.m., two pair of sunglasses, totaling more than $500, were reported stolen from an optical shop in the 800 block.

Cliff Drive: At 12:57 p.m., a man was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public in the 400 block.

Coast Highway: At 12:23 p.m., ID was reported stolen and used fraudulently in the 31600 block.

Park Avenue: At 10:12 a.m., decorative plants worth $50 were reported stolen from the front yard of a home the previous night in the 1500 block.

Laguna Canyon Road: At 4:09 a.m., two men were arrested on suspicion of DUI after a truck rolled over, causing rocks to fall on the roadway, and an injured person was transported to a hospital, in the 900 block.

THURSDAY

Thalia Street: At 12:34 p.m., a bike frame worth $2,225 was reported stolen the previous day from a store while it was open in the 200 block.

Lookout Drive: At 10:30 a.m., a Laguna Beach man was cited for alleged possession of marijuana in a vehicle on Poplar Street

No. Encino Road: At 10:24 a.m., jewelry was reported missing from a home in the 0 block.

Jasmine Street: At 8:59 a.m., graffiti was reported in the restrooms and lawn bowling areas in Heisler Park at Cliff Drive.

WEDNESDAY

Glenneyre Street: At 10:53 p.m., four men were reported to have walked out of a restaurant without paying a $1,000 tab in the 300 block.

No. Coast Highway: At 12:49 a.m., $1,000 was reported taken from a checking account that was hacked into via computer at a shop in the 600 block.
